Breeding progress together
We are a global plant breeding company offering sugar beet and wheat seeds. Furthermore, we produce and distribute seed for sunflower, soya bean and chickpea in more than 40 countries. We offer tolerant and high-performing varieties, that enable the farmer to manage the challenges in agriculture.
Driven by the ambition to offer products of highest quality, we invest our know-how in cutting-edge breeding technologies, seed quality, knowledge transfer and close exchange with our international business partners.
We have global scope and yet at the same time retain the flexibility to develop regional solutions by working hand in hand with farmers, advisers and partners.
Every single seed we supply contributes to more environmentally sustainable food production.
Breeding
We are breeders with passion. Since George Mendel’s discovery of the laws of genetic inheritance, we have been dedicated to breeding sugar beet and wheat varieties. Our expertise and the scientific possibilities have developed immensely during these 150 years, along with our processes and the demands that we place on ourselves. Modern varieties have to perform under changing and increasingly difficult and variable conditions. This is the challenge we accept and will deliver on.
Progress
We are committed to progress. The continuous improvement of our breeding, production and seed quality processes is a requirement that we have set for ourselves – and for our partners. When we succeed, our customers in agriculture can more easily progress their field management, yield performance and revenue. One cannot progress without the other.
Together
We are an inclusive business, where all Strube employees contribute and create a strong base through our experience, our innovation and our hard-working hands. Everyone is committed to our common goal. We listen to our clients and together we commit to finding answers to develop sustainable solutions. We are the partner of the farmer, the food processing industry and industry partners; because in Agriculture, no one stands alone.
