Biogas from sugar beet represents an interesting new revenue opportunity for sugar beet growers, and with bartens there’s a real opportunity to exploit this growing sugar beet market. The Danish National trials of Beet for Bioenergy in 2014, 2015 and 2016 have again shown that Strube’s Barents offers the high dry matter yields and easy harvesting that make it an ideal beet for biogas production.
